Regina High School Saddlelites Take Victory Against Fighting Irish in CHSL Varsity Lacrosse

The Regina High School Saddlelites faced off against the Toledo Central Catholic Fighting Irish in a CHSL regular season lacrosse game on April 15 that ended in a notable 9-6 win for the home team.

Scoring was a collective effort, with Neely Taylor leading the charge for the Saddlelites, contributing an impressive 4 goals. She was supported in the offensive drive by Caroline Kravitz, who netted 2 goals, and Gina Schaffran, Laney Taylor, and Lauren Gaff each adding 1 goal to the tally. Assists were involved in the play, with Olivia Dell'Isola and Gina Schaffran each providing 1 assist. Goalkeeper Vera Micakovic proved a formidable presence in the net, making 8 critical saves that helped secure the win.

With this victory, the Saddlelites maintain a Varsity lacrosse record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Regina High School is set to host its next game on April 17 against the Fr. Gabriel Richard Irish for another CHSL game.
